  • quotes are estimates based on the information available at the time;

  • final pricing may change if the scope of work changes;

  • additional work or materials may result in additional charges;

  • all work is subject to acceptance and scheduling.​

6. Project Scope and Variations

Before work begins, the scope of the project will normally be discussed and agreed as clearly as possible.

If the customer asks for changes, additions, or variations after a quote has been given or after work has started, WoodNow may revise the price, materials, timescale, or delivery arrangements accordingly.

7. Materials, Finishes, and Natural Variation

Where timber, veneers, paints, stains, finishes, hardware, or other materials are used, natural variation may occur in colour, grain, texture, or appearance.

WoodNow will take reasonable care to match agreed materials and finishes as closely as possible, but exact uniformity cannot always be guaranteed, particularly with natural materials.

8. Timescales and Delays

Any timescales given for quotations, project start dates, completion dates, or delivery are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing.

WoodNow will aim to carry out work within a reasonable timeframe, but delays may occur due to factors outside reasonable control, including supplier delays, material availability, weather, site conditions, access issues, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances.

WoodNow will not be responsible for delay where it is caused by matters outside reasonable control.

9. Access and Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for providing accurate information about the project and reasonable access to the property or site as required.

Where relevant, the customer should ensure that the working area is reasonably accessible, safe, and suitable for the agreed work.

Delays or additional work caused by restricted access, inaccurate information, or site conditions may affect price and timing.

10. Payments

Payment terms for any project will normally be confirmed separately in writing.

Where applicable, WoodNow may require:

  • a deposit before work begins;

  • staged payments during the project; or

  • full payment on completion.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices should be paid within the time stated on the invoice.

Late payment may result in delays to work, delivery, or release of completed items.

11. Cancellations

If a customer wishes to cancel a project after accepting a quote or after work has started, WoodNow reserves the right to charge for work already completed, time already committed, materials ordered, and any non-recoverable costs already incurred.

Any cancellation terms specific to a project may be confirmed separately in writing.

12. Liability

WoodNow will take reasonable care and skill in providing services.

However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, WoodNow will not be liable for:

  • indirect or consequential loss;

  • loss of profit, business, or opportunity;

  • loss arising from inaccurate information provided by the customer;

  • delays or failures caused by events outside reasonable control;

  • minor differences in natural materials, finishes, or colour where such variation is normal.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
